The OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT analysis confirms that our products meets strict ecological and health criteria. This certification enables us to confirm that our materials are free from harmful substances in accordance with the current Ecopassport guidelines.
Added value for our customers: With the ECO PASSPORT, we ensure that our adhesive solutions are suitable for applications where the highest product safety requirements apply – for example in the textile industry.

HKN Water Europe: Hydropower Electricity at the Headquarters in Switzerland
At Pontacol’s headquarters in Schmitten-FR, Switzerland, only electricity generated from hydropower is used.
Hydropower is renewable and sustainable as it utilizes the natural water cycle. Its production is environmentally friendly, generating no direct CO₂ emissions or air pollution. Hydropower plants provide reliably stable base load power and can be flexibly adjusted to meet energy demands. They are cost-efficient, as they require low operating costs after construction and can operate for decades. Furthermore, the energy is highly versatile: surplus energy can be stored, and with an efficiency rate of up to 90%, hydropower ranks among the most efficient and cleanest energy sources.
KlimaInvest Green Concepts: Green Electricity at the Production Site in Buxtehude, Germany
At our production site in Buxtehude, Germany, we exclusively use green electricity from renewable energy sources. The green electricity guarantees of origin come from sustainable facilities that meet the legally defined environmental standards and are connected to the European power grid.
