Metals are laminated with thermoplastic adhesive films and then processed using the injection molding process. Everything happens within the plastic injection molding processing cycle. Fast and economical.

Processing and application
Pontacol adhesive films have been specially developed for adhesion to metal, such as aluminum or stainless steel, and for subsequent processes such as deep drawing and back injection. The solution allows unrestricted design of the metallic surface: brushing, grinding, embossing, etching, etc. Pontacol adhesive films can be applied to metal sheets as well as metal coils. Commonly used laminating technologies are flatbed laminating machines for sheet metal or calenders for coil products. Possible applications are automotive interior panels or other metal products with design requirements such as control panels, handles, trim parts, etc.
