As a Plastics Practitioner EBA at Pontacol, you will learn how to read and prepare production orders, operate and set up systems, optimize production processes and work in a team. You will also learn how to monitor quality parameters, manage plastic waste and contribute to workplace safety.
We offer you a wide range of interesting tasks that will enable you to receive great education. We will prepare you for the exams over a period of two years and you gain a wide range of experience in a collegial team in order to develop yourself further professionally and personally.
Plastics Technologist EFZ: Immerse yourself in the premier class of plastics!
What awaits you?
As a Plastics Technologist EFZ, you become the mastermind of the plastics world. From interpreting internal specifications to quality assurance – you’ll learn everything your plastic heart desires!
What should you bring?
Excellent knowledge of German, a high school qualification and love technology and crafts!

As a Plastics Technologist EFZ at Pontacol, you will learn how to interpret internal specifications and how to operate and set up production and laboratory systems. You will also be involved in optimizing production processes and carrying out quality controls.
We will carefully train you during four years and prepare you for the final exams. You will gain exciting experiences in a collegial team in order to further develop yourself professionally and personally. We offer you diverse and interesting tasks that will enable you to receive a great education. After completing your studies, you will be a sought-after specialist as a Plastics Technologist with very good job prospects and opportunities for further development.
Logistician EFZ: The hub between suppliers, customers and our production!
What awaits you?
As a logistics specialist, you are the important link from receiving the raw materials to preparing the products for shipping – this is where you become a professional in planning and organization!
What should you bring?
Good knowledge of German language and mathematics, a a secondary or high school qualification and, above all, fun at powerful hands-on work!
A little more detailed?
As a logistics specialist EFZ at Pontacol, you will learn how to load and unload trucks professionally and store raw materials in a product-appropriate manner. To do this, you will skillfully operate our various forklifts. Processing delivery documents and customs documents as well as environmentally friendly disposal of residual materials and hazardous waste are also part of your tasks.
During the three-year apprenticeship, our specialists will show you how this exciting hub function works in our logistics. They accompany you on your way to reconciling the various tasks independently and professionally – and of course you lend a hand as part of a friendly co-worker team!
